In this world it is not what we take up, but what we give up, that makes us rich. – Henry Ward Beecher

What a mighty God you are.  Creator of heaven and earth.  Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the blessed Trinity of the old, the new, and the to comes.  Praise be to God!  Father, Jesus, Spirit I ask today that you lead me as I surrender this day to you.  May your glory shine brightly, may your work be done and may I be a vessel for you to use.  Bless our home, family, community and the leaders.  Bless your church and those you have chosen to lead.  Be with them Father according to your will.  May those who are ill finding healing.  May those who are hungry be fed.  May those who are homeless, depressed and broken find their shelter and strength in you.  Thank you for all the blessings you have allowed me in this life.  You are the Father of nations, yet you are my Father, and look after me as if I were your only child.  Today, may I serve you.  Fill me with the love of your Spirit.  Fill me up, that those may see it is Your love, Your joy, Your peace, Your abundance, Your health that flows from within me and that without you I am nothing.  All glory be yours now and forever.  Jesus, thank you.  Thank you for your love and sacrifice, help me this day to surrender completely and pick up my cross.  Forgive me of my selfish, human, controlling ego.  Forgive me for the absence of love, when love was needed.  Forgive me for not speaking up, when a voice need to be heard.  Forgive me for not writing, not loving, not being compassionate, yet most of all forgive me for leaving You out and missing out on a deeper relationship.  Be with me as I try again today to do my best.  I know my best will never be enough, so I look to you now, for with You, Lord, all things are possible.  God, each day, I hear more cries from your children, more prayers are requested, more help is needed, more feeling lost in this world, help me through your Spirit to know what to pray, what  to say and when to move this day.  It is in Jesus holy name, I thank you for all my yesterdays, for the wonders of today and the beauty of my tomorrows.  Amen, so be it…

John 12: 26  “Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.”
